Claude

  1. 1Open Customise > Connectors (or click the + at the bottom of the chat area and select Connectors > Manage Connectors)
  2. 2Click Add > Add custom connector
  3. 3Name it RevGeni and paste the connection URL below into the 'Remote MCP server URL' field, then click Add
  4. 4Click Connect, choose your RevGeni organisation from the list, then click Allow
  5. 5For each tool, choose 'Always allow' or 'Needs approval' - this controls how much confirmation Claude needs before acting

Is it safe to let an AI assistant touch our CRM?
Yes. Every action runs through the same permissions and data model as the RevGeni product itself - nothing is forked or bypassed. Every action is scoped to your organisation, audit-logged, and risky steps require a confirmation token. Real email sending, real social publishing, destructive deletes, and broad bulk mutations always require human approval - they are never automatic.
Which AI assistants can I connect?
Any MCP-compatible assistant, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Gemini. Step-by-step setup is documented below for Claude and ChatGPT today.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
No. Connecting your AI assistant takes a couple of minutes and no code - just add a custom connector with the connection URL and sign in with your RevGeni organisation.
Can I limit what the assistant is allowed to do?
Yes. During setup you choose, tool by tool, whether it can act automatically ('Always allow') or must check with you first ('Needs approval') - so you decide how much autonomy to grant.
